We will ask each coach to nominate two players from their team to be selected to the all state team.
These players must be highly skilled, show great leadership skills, good attitudes and good sportsmanship.

Christian Character
We will also have the coaches nominate one player from their team.  The coaches and referees will vote for the
 Christian Character.

Every team will be guaranteed two games.  We will play 40 min halves and follow the MHSAA soccer game rules. This means any coach or player red carded will be disqualified for the next game (no questions)

We will make one change:  tie breaker periods will be two 5-minute periods except the championship game. When the score is tied at the end of regulation time, the referee will instruct both teams to return to their respective team areas.  There will be a five minute interval during which both teams may confer with their coaches and the referee will instruct both teams as to proper procedure.
  1. There shall be two 5-minute (because of time) sudden victory golden goal overtime periods.  Except championship game it will be two 15-minute periods.
    a) A coin toss shall be held as in Rule 5-2-2(e).
    b) If a tie still exists at the end of the first 5-minute overtime period, teams shall change ends.

  2. If the score still remains tied, all coaches, officials and team captains shall assemble at the halfway line to review the procedure as outlined below:
    a) The referee shall choose the goal at which all shots from the penalty mark shall be taken.
    b) Each coach will select any five players, including the goalkeeper, on or off the field (except those who may have disqualified) to take the shots.
    c) A coin toss shall be held.  The team winning the toss shall have the choice of kicking first or second.
    d) Teams will alternate kickers.  There is no follow-up on the kick.
    e) The defending team may change the goal keeper prior to each/any penalty kick.
    f) Following the five kicks for each team, the team scoring on the greatest number of these kicks shall be declared the winner.
    g) Add one goal to the winning team score and credit the team with a victory.  An asterisk(*) may be placed by the team advancing to indicate the advancement was the result of a tie breaker system.

  3. If score remains tied after each team has had five shots from the penalty mark:
    a) Each coach will select five different players than the first five who already have kicked to take the shots in a sudden victory situation, wherein if one team scores and the other team does not score, the game is ended without more kicks being taken.
    b) If the score remains tied, continue the sudden victory kicks with coach selecting any five players (except disqualified players) to take the next set of alternation kicks.  If a tie still remains, repeat 3-a.

Tobacco and Alcohol are prohibited on the premises.  All violators will be removed.
Un-sportsmanlike attitude or conduct by the Coaches, Players or Spectators will not be tolerated and will result in the removal from playing area.
